A tree in California begins to weep. The Catholics flock to the place to worship the tree. The people believe that the tree sheds God's tears.
Before we look into the news as such the real cause for the teas in the tree is due to insect excrement. One of the parishioners Maria Ybarra told told that whenever we say "glory be to the father in the name of Jesus" it sheds more tears.
This is the insect responsible for the phenomenon.
Even though there is a scientific reason for the tears from the tree, some Catholics believe that it is because of God's miracle.
“When you say ‘glory be to God in Jesus’ name’ the tree starts throwing out more water,” parishioner Maria Ybarra told KGPE-TV. Ybarra was the first person to feel the drops of liquid, which began falling from the Crape Myrtle tree on Wednesday. As news spread, more and more people gathered under the tree to pray. “I said my prayer and asked the Lord to give me a miracle cause I’m really, really sick,” Rosemarie Navarro said.
